Project Justice is an organization of volunteer attorneys and legal professionals who assist refugees with legal issues in both the United States and overseas. Refugee representation includes both the advocacy of immigration issues and uniting families separated by unjustified visa denials. More recently, Project Justice has been working tirelessly with detained individuals who are at risk of deportation. Attorneys have provided legal counsel to the detainees and are guiding families in finding solutions during this difficult time. A typical immigration case may require months of research and court hearing attendance by the lawyer and many of the Project Justice attorneys are providing services on a pro bono or low bono basis. Project Justice has also set up a legal fund to assist families that cannot afford a lawyer. The Project Justice legal fund will be used for attorney representation for individuals with a verifiable need. Since Project Justice is a part of HelpIraq.org, a 501(c)(3) organization, your contribution is fully deductible.
