A House Bill was introduced by Juan Vargas of California last week. Representatives Fortenberry and Eshoo introduced a second bill (HB 110 attached) and both and are gaining traction. HB 110 has better language as it highlights the ongoing crisis and need for aid in Iraq.
There is a concurrent Senate Bill, which relates to the first Bill introduced by Vargas. It was introduced by Senators Portman and Stabenow.
